The Ilac Centre, located on Henry Street is one
of Ireland’s first large shopping centres, with the
project being its first major refurbishment since it
was built in the 1980’s.
Works comprised of mainly internal access to
the malls with minimal supporting towers to
allow the shops to continue to trade during the
refurbishment of the centre, and the replacement
of the roof structures to the malls. The spans
across the malls were achieved using structural
steel. Temporary roofs were erected externally
over the mall roofs during their removal.
