40 Leadenhall Street, London is a 34-storey building located in London’s insurance district made up of several stepped blocks, varying in height between 7 and 34 storeys, with two additional basement levels, roof-level plant and a range of cafés, restaurants, and retail units.

The scheme will total 910,000sq ft, split between 890,000sq ft of office space and around 20,000sq ft of retail space.

Installation

Brogan Group are providing a mixture of goods/passenger and goods-only hoists on the project, in both single and twin configurations, including bespoke 2.5m XXL Cages.

Twin Hoists service the 155m height of the north tower from the atrium, with single hoists on the 72m South Tower.  

A C door has been added to one side of a twin hoist installation, allowing a side egress point to the 7-storey block alongside the main tower.

Basement hoists service the ground, podium, mezzanine levels including a transport platform.

In addition, on the 7-storey block, Brogan have installed fixed and rolling Crane Decks for effective means of loading and removing material.
