Phase 2 of the Charlestown Development in Finglas involved the construction of 377 apartments and leisure facilities across 6 blocks, built on an existing 40-acre live residential and shopping centre campus.
Design & Installation
Brogan Group worked with the main Contractor to overcome the technical challenges of operating over an operational basement car park.
7 two tonne Goods Hoists were designed and installed to operate out of the basement through voids and from the podium above the live site, delivering offsite elements such as pre-assembled bathroom pods.
42 twin light and heavy-duty Mast Climbers were installed around each of the six blocks, in operation for 13 months enabling the installation of innovative composite external wall panels.
Bespoke 1.2m cantilevers were added to the MCWPs for installation works around the corners on each block.
For pedestrian access to the existing residential and shopping centre Scaffolding gantries, with MCWPs based on them were also constructed.
