Training routes

Influencing behavioural awareness and change is integral to our training so that traditional methods can be challenged and improved by new concepts and ideas from our employees. Key to this is the creation of a working environment that is safe, challenging, responsive and fair for all our employees.

1003 courses were completed by employees in 2018.  We also offer apprenticeships and day release study programmes in administration, engineering, quantity surveying, financial management, human resources, marketing and business administration.

Office-based apprenticeships

There has been a shift in attitudes in the last couple of years that has seen people understanding the value of undertaking a vocational apprenticeship rather than a university degree. We have been offering apprenticeships at Brogan Group since the humble beginnings of the company. We have always felt that people put in what they get out of somewhere, and thus, have always put time and value in a person’s progressions which has seen them go on to do great things within the company.

For those unsure whether they want to go to university or not, we offer apprenticeships that allow you to learn on the job while also studying for an NVQ. Apprentices will spend time across all departments within the office in order to learn where their skills lie and what they enjoy doing the most. At the end of the 12 months apprenticeship, they have the option to stay on and be given a job or to take on another apprenticeship elsewhere.
