The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Service Co-Ordinator with a good knowledge of Excel databases to assist our Hoist and Mastclimbers Servicing Department.

Duties to include:

  • Updating the system (Trello) daily with all engineering jobs, absences, holidays, weekly inspections, services, thorough examinations, brake changes and any other required information
  • Take calls/receive emails from our Clients regarding breakdowns and liaise with Service Manager
  • Completing daily labour allocation sheets via Easylog
  • Dealing with any payroll queries
  • Liaising with HR to book in site inductions for engineers and arranging necessary certificates
  • Liaising and responding to clients if copies of any engineering paperwork is required
  • Updating spreadsheets with servicing and thorough examination dates.
  • Enter information from paperwork onto spreadsheets and provide reports for weekly meetings
  • Responsible for safety brake replacement on site. Arranging for brakes to be sent back to suppliers.
  • Updating spreadsheet with new safety brake info, arranging delivery of safety brakes and booking with the client
  • Booking thorough examinations with clients and arranging test weights for periodic testing
  • Liaise with Contract Managers and booking Independent Thorough Examinations
  • Ad-hoc duties assigned by Line Manager or Head of Department

Skills Required:

  • Have very good written and spoken English skills
  • Be competent in maintaining databases and systems of work
  • Be proactive and have good common sense
  • Ideally have experience in the construction industry or similar
  • Be ambitious and wanting to progress within time to more senior roles
  • Candidates must have good Excel skills/analytical skills
  • Confident and able to work on own initiative
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
