HR Administrator

Due to our continuous expansion we are currently recruiting  for a HR Administrator to join busy HR team at our Head Office in Welwyn Garden City.

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Full time

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Be a point of contact for all HR-related queries
  • Draft, review and issue HR-related documentation, such as Holiday Request Forms
  • Ensure the HR database is up to date and accurate
  • Assist in the recruitment process, uploading adverts, screening CV’s, produce documentation for new starters and induction
  • Ensure pre-employment checks are undertaken and monitor the on boarding on new starters
  • Liaise with Payroll, preparing and logging all payroll instructions and submit in time for the payrolls run i.e. starters, leavers and changes
  • Process resignations
  • Assist in formal meetings as required, such as Disciplinary and Grievances by taking notes and provide HR support
  • Monitor sickness triggers and provide regular reports
  • Timekeeping systems management
  • Adhoc duties assigned by management

 

Skills:

 

  • Experience of working in an HR environment
  • Strong administration skills with the ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • A high level of confidentiality with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be resilient to change
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confidentiality, and ability to build relationships easily, autonomous with excellent interpersonal skills
  • CIPD qualification, would be an advantage
