Key Responsibilities
- In this role, you'll create 2D/3D models of scaffolding, mast climbing work platforms, common towers and hoists. From this model, you will create working drawings and calculations for submission.
- These designs will also be used to help prepare cost estimates on projects, as well as showcasing to potential clients in order to further explain the design to the site team involved in the aim of securing the project.
- You may need to visit site for part of the design process on certain projects
Ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor Science of Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 3yrs experience in scaffolding industry.
- Proficient in Autocad 2D/3D.
- Revit Structural is a plus.
- Ability to prepare accurate structural calculations.
- Knowledge in structural analysis software is an advantage.
- Knowledge in Mast climber, Hoist and Common towers is an advantage.
- Conduct site visits to gather information based on actual site conditions.
- Familiarity with BS EN 12811-1:2003 and TG20 guidelines.
