Brogan Group has been awarded the contract to provide powered access solutions for a new data centre in Atlanta, USA. The project continues the Group’s strategic expansion in the US market and builds on a growing portfolio of similar high-profile data centre schemes.
For this project, Brogan will supply and install multiple MBC 50 hoists – the company’s largest goods-only hoist. Each unit measures approximately 26.2 ft x 10.5 ft (8 m x 3.2 m) and offers a lifting capacity of up to 4.2 tons (3.8 tonnes), making it ideally suited to the movement and installation of heavy plant and equipment typically found in data centre developments.
Where required, the hoists can be integrated with Brogan Group’s proprietary Atlas Loading Gantry™, enabling the safe loading and “end-on” installation of large, fragile and high-value specialist equipment. This combined solution ensures the efficient and controlled movement of materials and fit-out components throughout all stages of the build.
With extensive expertise in temporary works design and access provision, Brogan works closely with both main contractors and end users to deliver access solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each project.
The Group’s specialist knowledge of the access requirements within data centre, distribution and industrial warehousing environments is reflected in its growing track record of successful projects and repeat business across the USA and mainland Europe, with recent contracts completed in the United States, Germany and Italy.
