Ealing Filmworks, London

We were successful in securing the main works on the iconic Ealing Filmworks development in the heart of Ealing, West London. Further to the large scaffold protection screen erected as part of the early works package to protect site cabins and support an advertising banner, we have gone on to secure the combined scaffolding and hoist works package.

Our scope of works includes full perimeter access to the façade of the buildings as well as a bespoke designed hanging scaffold for parapet access due to site constraints where no tube is to be based off the ground.

Our hoist package will include a number of goods/passenger hoists, one of which is a large Alimak 650 27/39 – 1.5m x L. Our in-house Fabrications Team will also be manufacturing hoist run off’s that step back at terrace level to provide access to all floors.

Upon completion of the project, Ealing is Filmworks will be a mixed-use development that comprises apartments, a theatre and a handful of bars and restaurants. The residential element of the development includes over 200 one, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses that are across eight floors.
