Thursday 28th April is World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2022.

This day is about raising awareness of how promoting and creating a safety and health culture can help reduce the number of work-related deaths and injuries.

In Construction, 50% of the fatal incidents in the industry are from falls at height but Brogan Group, who largely work at height, have thankfully had no fatalities.

In the last year Brogan Group across the UK, Ireland and the Middle East have celebrated 1.5 million+ Man Hours accident-free, picked up 10 Health & Safety awards with clients and organisations and achieved a 0.00 Accident Frequency Rate (AFR).

So what is the secret to this success?

Our success stems from our people.

A dedicated SHEQ team that carries out High-Risk Reviews with our clients, plus an operational workforce who adhere to the highest industry health and safety standards, identifying and resolving issues there and then.

It includes our drivers of our large fleet transporting our Access services, who minimise the risks to vulnerable road users and others that could be affected by our logistics operations.

The World Day for Safety and Health at Work also includes our support for wider well-being initiatives such as Mental health First Aid training where we have a core team of Mental Health First Aiders who support our staff at Brogan Group.
