Rounding up Training in 2010

In recent months, site operatives, supervisors, and Health & Safety personnel have undergone further training in their fields as part of the Company’s ongoing investment into the skill set of all employees.

The number in our workforce at both NVQ 2 and NVQ Advanced Scaffolding level has increased significantly with the successful completion of NVQ training throughout November and December.

To attain Level 2 of the National Vocational Qualification, overall competence is tested through a combination of an on-site practical assessment and college-based work. Level 3 advanced training fully qualifies scaffolders, and assesses ability to safely erect, alter and dismantle a range of complex scaffolding structures.

In addition, several site staff have successfully carried out First Aid training with St John Ambulance.

Training forms part of our continuous commitment to the welfare and development of our staff, and we would like to take the opportunity to congratulate everyone on their accomplishments.
