The curtain has come down on another season of Gaelic football in the Middle East league for RAK Ropairí GAA Club. It was a record year for the club with five adult teams entered in competition this season, our three ladies and two men’s teams along with our ever popular juvenile programme played a combined total of 23 tournaments across the entire Gulf region from October 2022 to March 2023.
As always there were some big wins, some heartbreaking defeats, lots of sweat, tears and no end of fun and laughter. All of our players and coaches put in a huge effort all year and will take a well-earned rest until the new season resumes in September.
