Royal College of Surgeons, London

We are providing the hoist package to The Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) Lincoln’s Inn Fields Building. The latest re-model will find the Hunterian Museum, with collections of human and non-human anatomical and pathological specimens being expanded to occupy the majority of the ground floor. The buildings found themselves completely re-built in the 1950’s after the second World War and thus is a grade II listed building.

The RCS is a professional membership organisation and registered charity that is in existence to advance its patient care. The RCS redevelopment was designed with the intention of making their space a more modern and light facility that will confidently provide the best education, examination and research sources of the nation’s surgeons.

Andrew Reed, Chief Executive of the Royal College of Surgeons said:

“This is an exciting time for everyone at the RCS, and we are pleased to be working with so many excellent partners. With their vision and expertise, we will build a modern and fit-for-purpose home for surgery in the UK and across the world”.

The project is due for completion in 2021.
