One of our site operatives based at the Cannon Place development has been crowned employee of the month, after being nominated by main contractor Laing O’Rourke’s Site Manager for his outstanding commitment to Health & Safety
Impressed with his contribution to Health & Safety for both himself and those around him, the Site Manager was keen to make an example of his attitude and approach believing it would encourage his co-workers to display the same enthusiasm.
The award recognises his efforts in highlighting hazards on site, and when he has consequently presented an alternative method where the proposed method is unsuitable.
His activities have not just been limited to Health & Safety as he has also been mindful of environmental issues on site.
