Brogan Group has been awarded BAM Construction's Certificate of Safety for the month of December. The award recognises the outstanding safety performance and lasting contribution on site. We were also awarded the ‘Certificate of Safety’ from BAM in October last year, highlighting the consistency of our service on this project.

The project comprises of an impressive 10 floors with a main commercial area in the front of the building and a residential block at the rear. The former Webb House was an 8-storey office building which is being refurbished with two new floors, an extension on the Kilick Street frontage and a roof level being added.

Features include a convex glass roof structure and a high performance glazing system framed with aluminium and solar control louvres.

We are currently erecting the Pentonville Road elevation to enable the installation of the floor height glazing panels with staggered heavy duty loading bays to enable the glazing contractor to load out the glass pallets at varying levels. The rear elevation on site has a fully boarded access system scaffolding to the perimeter from ground floor up to the 10th floor with a hoist run-off platform to every floor and bridged bays at the base to enable materials to be transported throughout the building from the front elevation to the rear.

This state of the art building is due for completion in June 2009, planned as a landmark building in the centre of the King's Cross regeneration area.
