1,000,000 RIDDOR Free Man-Hours

Brogan Group were recently invited to attend an awards ceremony at the New Providence Tower and Wharf, in recognition of the project achieving one million RIDDOR free man-hours. This invitation recognises the significant contribution that The Brogan Group team have made to the project, in collaboration with Balfour Beatty and the other trade contractors in achieving this momentous milestone.

Brogan Group's SHEQ Director, James Lewis commented “This achievement is testament to the continued awareness and focus that everyone involved in the delivery of this project has had, to ensure not only their safety, but that of others working around them, whilst they carry out their work activities to such a high standard without any significant harm to anyone. We are keen supporters of Balfour Beatty's 'Zero Harm' philosophy which is reinforced continually throughout all levels of their supply chain.”

Our employees were also recognised, notably Albert Baughan, for their commitment to safety and the quality of the edge protection across the project which included the installation of combisafe nets, the tower edge protection, the 12-storey system scaffolding and other associated access requirements on the project.

Brogan Group are currently piloting a new behavioural safety programme with the intention to roll this out across the workforce in the first and second quarter of 2016 to increase the awareness and focus of all of our employees within the group.
