Brogan Group has recently been awarded the access requirements for the latest phase in the new Wembley development. John Sisk & Son are the main contractors and have started work on site for the construction of the residential and retail development. The 46.3million scheme will involve the construction of 234 Flats, retail facilities, and a Public Health Unit.

Quintain Estates & Development is transforming the land surrounding the famous National Stadium into one of the capital's brightest and most vibrant address. PRP, Price & Myers and Hilson Moran Partners are the design team involved in this project.

Brogan Group is providing the overall access package. Traditional Tube & Fittings access scaffold has been erected with boarded lifts to suit floor levels following the buildings stepped cantilevered balcony profiles. The boarded levels are used as run-offs onto the floors with heavy duty loading bays at specific points around the concrete frame for trolleying materials around and into the building.

In areas where the scaffold is close to the site boundary adjacent to the public footpath, a protection fan has been erected and hung from the access bays to provide a safe covered walkway below. The North West corner required a bridged and cantilevered support to the access scaffold where the site boundary overhangs the highway.

It is anticipated the contract will run for a period until Feb 2010.
