Brogan Group scoop Bronze prize at the Considerate Constructors Scheme annual awards

On Friday 16th November, Brogan Group were honoured to be able to attend the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) annual awards. The awards, which have been running since 1999, recognise and reward the UK’s most considerate construction sites. The scheme encourages and rewards many constructors for their competent management, efficiency, awareness of environmental issues and a spirit of neighbourliness. The awards grow in importance each year as the industry continually aims to raise the benchmark in these areas.

As part of the judgement process our Head Office and two of our sites were assessed in terms of how we are meeting CCS standards.  It was noted that we have a clear commitment to both cleanliness and tidiness which is something we are continually conscious of across all our sites. It was also noted that we clearly have very high safety standards. This shines a light on the fact that we ensure all new starters initially work in our depots in order to instil our stringent safety and tidy practices prior to being allowed on site.

We were happy our clear commitment to meeting the demands of the CCS checklist was noted. The awards day itself was a delight with representatives from our Business Development and Health and Safety teams in attendance to collect the Bronze award.
