Weymouth Street

This refurbishment project increases the residential accommodation in an existing 1960's building in London’s Fitzrovia. Ten new apartments are created by extending the building with a new full-height block to the rear and replacing an existing penthouse level with a new structure.

Work comprised of erecting independent scaffold on the front elevation, founded from a heavy duty pavement gantry to the Hallam Street elevation. Further to this rear elevation scaffolds were erected for cladding, which were partly founded from the ground, with a series of heavy duty cantilevered loading bays.

Internal work included erecting lift shaft scaffolds, block work scaffolds and leading edge hand rails.
