Elmgreen School

Elmgreen is a secondary school based in the heart of Lambeth. Construction of the school will take place over an estimated period of 16 months with the overall project value estimated at approximately £23m.

The new school will provide 900 places for pupils in year 7 to 11 (including a 30 place Hearing Impairment Unit), and a 200 place sixth form unit.

Our work will include putting in place independent scaffold, access stair cases and lift shafts. Two large heavy duty modular beam bridges will also be installed and bird cage scaffolds within the building to support the roof and glazing works.

The co-educational secondary school has been open since 2007 with temporary premises at a Victorian built school at Gipsy Road , West Norwood. The school is situated here while it awaits completion of the new school at Elmcourt Road, Lambeth which is due for completion in July 2009 in time for the new school year beginning September 2009.
