80 Charlotte Street

We offered bespoke design scaffold to a development on Charlotte Street, London. The client required a scaffold to be erected that provided a full access scheme to each of the three atria requiring works. The criteria for this was that the scaffold could not be supported from the ground floor as it would traditionally.

Scaffold would usually be built from the floor of the atrium, however there was a crane on site that prevented us from doing so. This left our design engineers working on a way for Brogan to be able to provide their works while working simultaneously with the crane.

We provided six towers on the first floor of the development to support a bespoke beam frame which allowed our works to proceed without disturbing the crane.

The development's three atria included a cafe, an office and a reception area spanning 13m, 12m and 19m consecutively. Each of the atria reach 26m high. The reception area also required a lifting beam to allow lifting operation.

Our design team also instilled a temporary roof to each of the atria within the package so as to provide weather protection to the exposed interior below. Further to this, we also provided a number of crane decks to the development to assist with the works.
