Scaffolding to the North elevation, and central section of the new children’s medical centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital, has been dismantled to allow a steel frame to be bolted to the façade for works to the glass feature at the front of the building, and will be re-erected once the steel frame is secured.

Upon completion the Centre will provide better accommodation for families, support for disabled children preparing to return home and modern facilities for various departments, including medical daycare, biomedical engineering and two new operating theatres.
