We have been appointed by the main contractor to supply scaffolding for the reconstruction of New Rickstones Academy, which will replace the former Rickstones School, as part of a major investment programme into the provision of education in Essex.
The Academy will be a brand new three-storey building, which will be opened by September 2011, and the existing school building will be demolished shortly thereafter. The sports hall and sixth form centre will remain intact as they are relatively new facilities.
Part of the Governments Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, New Rickstones Academy is the smaller of the two major comprehensive schools in Witham, Essex, the other being Maltings Academy of which we are also involved in providing access works for its redevelopment.
