Longest Standing Scaffolder hangs up his Steel Capped Boots

Brogan group has recently said goodbye to our longest serving scaffolder Steve Traynor who has retired after working for 28 years at Brogan Group. He started working for us in February 1994 as a scaffolder and retired in November 2016 as a Foreman.

Whilst working at Brogan Group Steve worked on many different sites, starting in 1994 on Farringdon Road, then onto the Whitgift Centre in Croydon (1997), the University of East London student accommodation (2009) and his last job was for at Victoria Embankment. (2017)

Dave Naessens, Operations Manager said of Steve; ‘He was the finest scaffolder I have ever had the fortune to work with, hardworking, knowledgeable, a small man with a big heart, as strong as an ox, he was never any Trouble.’

Steve was a true asset to Brogan Group and he will be greatly missed. Steve received a plaque and a watch from Brogan Group as a show of gratitude for his dedication and commitment to the company. We wish him a long and enjoyable retirement.
