We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the access package for the £17.6m construction of the new Faculty of Business and Law building at Kingston University.
The building will be arranged over five-storeys with multi-level entrances. Each elevation will appear as the main façade so the building will appear to have no main entrance. The concrete frame structure will incorporate environmentally sustainable features such as a ground source heat pump and rain water harvesting system.
An internal area has been designed to include an atrium to allow natural light to enter all floors, including the basement.
Construction began in March 2010 and the project is due to complete in October 2011. We are due to start work on site in the coming weeks.
