We are proud to announce that we have topped BAM’s monthly sub-contractors Health & Safety League at Great Ormond Street Hospital for November.
We surpassed six other subcontractors on criteria such as risk assessments and method statements, PPE, and safety management attendance, to achieve the highest ranking in Health & Safety standards.
This latest achievement marks the fourth award won on site at Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2010 currently in Phase 2a of redevelopment works.
The new £300 million Mittal’s Children’s Medical Centre is being redeveloped in two phases; Phase 2a is the building of The Morgan Stanley Clinical Building (MSCB).
Due to open in 2012, MSCB will be able to treat up to 20 % more children. Facilities will include new kidney, neurosciences and heart and lung centres; seven floors of modern inpatient wards for children with acute conditions and chronic illnesses; state-of-the-art operating theatres enabling more operations on children with complex conditions; and enhanced diagnostic and treatment facilities offering faster and more accurate services for patients.
