Brogan Group sponsored Naomh Alee, the Saudi Arabian Gaelic Football team, have had a triumphant end to the season.

The men’s team were crowned the inaugural winners of the new league 2023 and took home the Presidents Cup for a tournament on the final day of the season.

Naomh Alee has been playing Gaelic Football in the country for 30 years, and the team this year hosted a GAA Champions Reunion at the Irish embassy in Riyadh attended by Brogan Group representatives and the president of the GAA, Mr Larry McCarthy.

This is the first year Brogan Group have sponsored Naomh Alee and continues a tradition, as a company with Irish roots, of supporting Gaelic football, with long-term sponsorship of RAK Ropairi GAA in the UAE and Connacht GAA in Ireland.

The Club Chairman of Naomh Alee, Patrick Moynagh commented:

“Sincere thanks to Brogan Group for your support this season, and it was wholly appropriate that we should open our season on the field back in October at Al Reem, Abu Dhabi – and close our season at the Embassy in Riyadh, both with you in attendance. Now it’s time for rest throughout the summer months and to prepare for a busy next season which will be particularly special as we celebrate the club’s 30th birthday.”
