We have secured the hoist package for 40 Leadenhall Street, London. The 34-storey building is located in London’s insurance district, surrounded by a cluster of tall, striking buildings such as 30 St Mary Axe (The Gerkin), 20 Fenchurch Street (the Walkie- Talkie) and 53 Lime Street (the Scalpel), the latter two of which we have also provided access.

40 Leadenhall or ‘Gotham city’ as its also known as, will be made up of several stepped blocks, varying in height between 7 and 34 storeys, with two additional basement levels, roof-level plant and a range of café, restaurant and retail units.

Brogan Group are providing a mixture of goods/passenger and goods only hoists on the project, including bespoke 5m x 2.5m Alimak hoists that will reach a maximum height of 150m.

On completion, the scheme will total 910,000sq ft, split between 890,000sq ft of office space and around 20,000sq ft retail space. The project is predicated to create over 7000 jobs and is expected to be complete in 2024.
