Mulberry UTC, East London

Mulberry UTC is a new University Technical College (UTC) based in Tower Hamlets which was established by Mulberry School for Girls and is part of the Mulberry Schools Trust. It opened in September 2017 in a brand new building, on the site of an old fire station on the corner of Roman Road.

It included a 250-seat purpose designed theatre, media suites, craft workshops and specialist health suites.

The new facilities will support the UTC in significantly raising employability in the creative, health and digital technology industries for young people in Tower Hamlets and surrounding boroughs.

We provided a number of our retractable Crane Decks alongside the scaffolding package to aid the construction of this development in such a heavily populated area.
