Kileen Castle, Co Meath

The Killeen Castle project involved renovation of the 400 year old castle located on the grounds of Co. Meath, Ireland. The works involved construction of new accommodation at ground floor level and infrastructure works to the entire estate and Golf Course facilities.

Work included erecting independent scaffold to the perimeter, which was partly buttress tied with a temporary roof erected across the entire building. In addition to this internal birdcage scaffolds were erected at each level to support floors, ceilings and walls.

Work on the 15th century castle began in 2005 and was completed in 2006; the main contractor was Cleary & Doyle.
