Heathrow A380 Hanger

Access was provided to facilitate the adaption of a 1950's grade II listed hanger to accommodate the new British Airways A380 aircraft.

The project is part of a multi-million pound redevelopment of its Heathrow engineering base as it prepares for the arrival of its new fleet of Airbus A380 super jumbos. The North hanger is one of two hangers that can comfortably house the giant passenger transport plane and includes a new site to display Concorde.
