Cork University Hospital

University College Cork was established in 1845. Its main campus spans forty-four acres with additional facilities located close by.

Building works consisted of an extension to the side of the existing library building. Our remit included the erection of independent perimeter scaffolds to the building along with heavy duty loading bays for facade works.

Internal scaffolding consisted of independent scaffold to the atrium with a bridged birdcage to the top. In addition to this slab edge handrails to the perimeter, lift shaft scaffolds and birdcage scaffolds for demolition works were also erected.
