Works have commenced on the housing project at London Road, Hounslow, with Cuplok scaffold erected at a height of four metres to the front elevation to support the site hoarding.
This scaffold will eventually be extended to the full height of the building on the South elevation that will then be linked with the East and West elevations as the structure takes shape.
The £15 million project involves the construction of 76 one, two and three bed apartments arranged over six floors with a commercial unit on the ground floor.
The affordable housing scheme will be delivered by regeneration specialists Mansell Construction with completion due by the end of 2011.
