Work nearing completion at Gracechurch Street, London

We are currently nearing completion of work at 20 Gracechurch Street, one of the largest office developments in the city. The site is being refurbished under a £50 million contract by one of Britain's largest contractors, HBG UK and the newly refurbished 19-storey building is due to be completed this summer.

 

At the initial stages of the project we provided a full scaffold & steelwork pavement gantry over the site boundary pedestrian pavement routes to provide protection to the public with a full access scaffold built above for the renovation works to the building façades.

Internal and external scaffolds were provided for all the glazing, cladding and new build works required for HBG and their sub-contractors.

We also provided a complex free standing access and temporary roof to the 7th floor vaulted roof which required extensive buttressing, with bridged hanging access and weatherproofing to enable the client to remove and replace the existing roof panels. This has been an intricate project in terms of size and design.
