Last week, the contractor of Boland's Quay topped out on the third tower of the development. We have been providing a number of hoists to aid the construction of all three towers.
The project has involved over 25,000m3 of reinforced concrete, 1,800 tonnes of structural steel and over 8,000m2 of high-performance façade.
Our hoists will still spend the next couple of months at the development to provide the contractor with the means for the fit-out and cladding elements of the project before they come down again.
The history of Boland’s Quay dates back to the 1830s having played a pivotal part in the fight for independence as a stronghold for revolutionaries during the 1916 Rising. Upon completion of the project, three new towers will reshape the skyline of Dublin’s iconic Docklands, the tallest of which will reach 51m.
The new site will house 31,000m2 of office space and apartments.
