Brogan Group have successfully renewed our FORS Silver accreditation, reaffirming our commitment to minimising the risks to vulnerable road users and others that could be affected by our logistics operations.
This is our 6th year of continuously achieving this industry-leading accreditation, demonstrating our continued support of the Work-Related Road Risk initiative, aligned with the Mayor of London’s Vision Zero approach to road danger reduction.
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations and to demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.
FORS Silver accreditation reflects, additionally, our compliance with both CLOCS (Construction Standards and Community Safety) and WRRR (Work Related Road Risk) safety standards in transport and logistics operations.
Brogan Group sustains and improves its fleet operations with thorough driver licensing checks, adequate vehicle warning equipment, blind-spot minimisation, progressive driver training and monitoring our performance data through our fleet-wide telematics system to measure our environmental impact. We then use internal campaigns to reduce impact when negative trends are raised.
We carry out noise assessments for all logistics activities in our yard, site and vehicles to assess and closely monitor and limit the noise impact on our local communities and noise-sensitive areas.
We put road danger reduction at the heart of everything we do.
