Our Health and Safety Manager Warren Donnelly and Health and Safety Advisor Paul Quaid have successfully passed a Competent Persons course for the inspection of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), for work at height.

The course teaches skills necessary for inspecting individual equipment, record keeping, marking and traceability. Warren and Paul are now qualified to carry out examinations of equipment and keep traceable records to satisfy the LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and WAH (Working at Height) regulations.

The course also teaches the requirements for obsolescence, care and maintenance for a range of personal equipment, and provides specific inspection criteria for each category of product.

We congratulate Warren and Paul, pictured above receiving their NARC (National Access and Rescue Centre) Certificates, on their achievements.
