We have renewed our FORS Silver accreditation. We were one of the first organisations in the UK to have gone through the new Audit/accreditation process, meeting with the higher standards introduced towards the end of last year.
The purpose of the scheme is to continue to raise the level of quality within fleet operations and to create a way to demonstrate which operators are achieving the high standard set by FORS.
There are four key areas to the FORS Standard:
Within each section, the operator is assessed on the legal compliance, safety, efficiency, environment, security and counter-terrorism.
We are also an accredited member and a registered CLOCS (Construction Standards and Community Safety) Champion. Part of our responsibilities as a CLOCS Champion is to raise the level of safety, occupational health, and quality of our fleet services and reduce the impact on the environment from our fleet and drivers.
Clients are reassured by both our CLOCS and FORS Silver status, that our logistics fleet delivering our award-winning services to them is compliant with the requirements of work-related road risk (WRRR).
