We are providing scaffolding access for the construction of a Signature Care Home in Wandsworth. The project involves the regeneration of a derelict site as it is located within the setting of the Wandsworth Town Conservation Area and the Wandsworth Common Conservation Area. As the location is close to an unusual heritage site, it requires careful consideration in terms of the design of the proposed structure and the works involved. Brogan's remit includes a section of the scaffold being positioned over a church roof. Beams will be bolted to the roof that will project outward and scaffold will be hung from them in order to avoid basing it off the roof itself. This is to avoid any potential threats to the integrity of the building.

The new development will include 98 private apartments that vary from studios to 1 bedroom suites and will offer Signature’s award winning residential and nursing care. The home has been designed using the Gold Standard framework from Stirling University, which is specifically for those living with memory loss. The state of the art complex, which includes its very own cinema, a hair salon and a therapy room and will be open to residents in 2020.
