Scaffold contract secured for Cork Street residential project

We have been awarded the contract for provision of scaffolding for a residential development on Cork Street, Dublin 8.

Our remit includes provision of scaffolding access for the construction of two blocks, with 4-6 floors and 3 floors respectively. Brogan will supply and erect perimeter scaffold with walkways off the scaffold into each flat, which is the only means of accessing the flats until the permanent walkways are erected later.

Weaver Park runs alongside Block A with an adjoining building on the corner of Cork St. where a protective fan will run an along the park elevation. Block B is a former allotment plot across the road from Block A, with adjoining properties, resulting in a very tight site overall.

The modular element of the construction is designed to maximise the off-site manufacture of components using the client’s Vision Built system. This will reduce onsite construction time, maximising efficiency and resulting in rapid delivery.
