RIP Rafael Viñoly, the renowned Architect whose work features in more than 600 structures around the world and included the design of the iconic 20 Fenchurch Street in London, better known as the Walkie Talkie.
Brogan Group had the honour of working on Rafael’s Walkie Talkie design back in 2013-2014, a complex and unique Scaffolding project with a roof fin structure requiring extensive support scaffold structures to be built overlooking the Thames, some 150m above the ground level at the roof garden.
Rafael also oversaw the master plan of the £5.5 Billion Battersea Power Station overhaul which opened last year. Brogan Group provided scaffolding, 17 Hoists & 25 Mast Climbers on phase 1, with over 52 Hoists on phase 2 and 4 Common Towers with 15 Hoists on phase 3.
