We have recently been awarded the access package for the refurbishment of a number of leisure centres in Middlesex for main contractor John Sisk.
The Scheme will cover improvement works on three leisure centres in West London including:
Work on Feltham Airparcs Leisure Centre with demolition and reconstruction of its single storey buildings to form a new reception, cafeteria, library and crèche. This project is valued at £5.6 million.
Isleworth Recreation Centre and Isleworth Library will be given a £5.3 million revamp. Work will cover integrating the two buildings to provide a leisure ‘hub’. This will see construction of a link between the two.
Work to extend the new Chiswick Pool by an extra storey is valued at £2.6 million. This will cover removal of the existing roof and construction of a second storey gym, with enlarged reception/entrance, café, exercise studio, separate wet and dry changing area, crèche and steam & sauna rooms.
The project is due for completion in May 2010.
