Rainbow pre-school in Gamlingay is 26 years established, and an Ofsted certified pre-school for children aged from 2 to 4 years. It is part of the same community as Brogan Groups’ UK depot, sitting in the heart of the Cambridgeshire village.
Rainbow Pre-School recently raised funds towards a new outdoor classroom and Brogan Group, from the busy Gamlingay yard, volunteered their time and labour to lay a new patio area and a new lawn.
Rainbow believe in a free-flow policy in the garden area for their children. Outside they can play with sand and water activities, the train, a playhouse, and a wide range of ride-on toys. This is part of the school philosophy, backed up by research, showing that play helps young children to learn and develop through doing and talking, how young children think.
Lisa Burton, the Manager at Rainbow Preschool commented:
"This is great that we had the guys from Brogan Group come out to lay this new paving and lawn, this will make a huge difference to our children this summer and beyond with the expansion of the play area. It is a safe outdoor space for the children to play and learn, and good to see Brogan continue to support the community"
