We have secured the hoist package on the £276m Residential build-to-rent project at Nine Elms Park, Battersea.
The project is managed by a London focused residential property developer who have been working on a pre-construction development agreement signed in 2017. The start of works follows the granting of detailed planning consent for the development of 894 flats, designed to boost the supply of quality rental accommodation in the area.
We are supplying hoists to all six blocks, the hoists serving Blocks B1 and D1 will both be 27/38 passenger/goods hoists rising 60 metres with 19 landings. The same model hoists will be installed on Blocks B3 and D3 and will rise to 37 metres with 11 landings.
Blocks B2 and D2 will have a 27/38 passenger/goods hoists combined with goods only hoists to create a combination twin, rising 47 metres and serving 14 landings.
All hoists will have C gates, call button systems and top hats where appropriate.
For Blocks D1 & D2, we are due on site early May 2020, with deliveries continuing through to July 2021. We are expected to complete on site around August/September 2022.
The entire phased development is expected to be completed in late 2024 and will be within walking distance of two new London Underground stations on the extended Northern Line, on the south side of the River Thames.
