Brogan Group are providing Mast Climbers to enable stonework recladding on a Greenwich Peninsula Hotel and apartment complex.
The two buildings, the tallest at 27 storeys, had various design considerations to overcome including protruding windows, balconies and a curved façade on one elevation.
Brogan Group designed sliding platforms that allowed the MCWPs to be positioned away from the buildings and incorporated fixed-deck angled sections to match the shape of the building.
As a live site instructions were in place to install MCWP mast sections out of line of the windows with some MCWPs positioned from a gantry.
At each tie level, there was a different post-tension arrangement. To mitigate conflicts between the Post Tension tendon and MCWP ties, Brogan Group developed a bespoke tie bracket for each level.
