The £150M project involves redevelopment of the Main Olympic Stadium into a multi-use venue capable of hosting football (60 000 capacity), athletics (74 000), concerts (90 000) and community events/activities. The stadium to be fully compliant with FIFA and IAAF standards. Works to include the extension/replacement of the existing stadium roof to cover the majority of seating, the installation of general spectator and additional hospitality facilities, along with office/retail accommodation and the provision of a warm-up community track and field facility to be located adjacent to the stadium.
We are pleased to be continuing works on this project with completion scheduled for June 2016.
