Works are underway on the refurbishment of Archway Tower, Islington.
We are providing full height perimeter access in the form of scaffolding and mastclimbers for the Archway Tower refurbishment project.
Our works include installing double stacked platforms on both twin and single masts. Having two platforms allows for the façade work to be completed efficiently, safely and enables two crews to work simultaneously on the same elevation.
The mastclimbers over the station area are supported off gallows brackets fixed to the structure (max load 9 tonnes)
The Archway Tower building was built over Archway tube station and completed in 1963. The design is to convert Archway Tower from a 195-foot vacant office to a residential building providing privately rented accommodation for people who want to live and work in Archway.
