After securing the contract for the redevelopment of Finchley Memorial Hospital, the main contractor has awarded us the access package for the £26.2 million modernisation.
We will be supplying scaffolding throughout the two-phased project. The initial phase of works is the construction of the new hospital building next to the existing hospital site. The demolition of the existing building will take place under the second phase.
Arranged over three storeys, the hospital will contain state-of-the-art primary and intermediate care, occupational therapy, improved outpatients provision and diagnostics facilities. Other works include a new café, retail units, and new public and private open spaces.
With our works due to start on site in the coming weeks, the new hospital building is expected to be unveiled in July 2012.
