Brogan Group have won the Hoist Package for new residential blocks at a Barking development in London. The 1,089 apartments are part of a £350m riverside urban village project master-planned and designed by architectural practice Broadway Malyan and built by a leading Housebuilder, that will also provide shops & leisure facilities for the community.
Brogan Group scope of works involves installing Hoists in the interior courtyard of a C shaped block of 4 apartment buildings.
Brogan single passenger/goods Hoists will be placed on two 12 storey blocks in this courtyard as well as on an 18-storey apartment building, which will have an extended hoist gantry for entry to this taller block.
The whole project will be split across 13 residential blocks ranging from seven to 29 storeys and part of a site with 22,281 sqft (2,070 sqm) of commercial and leisure space and plans for a new pavilion restaurant, local shops, cafés, gymnasium, and community hub.
