This year Brogan Group have been sponsoring Ollie Rands in his first season in the Wera Tools British Kart Championship Junior TKM.
Ollie is from Gamlingay, where the Brogan’s UK depot is homed, with 2022 being Ollie’s first year of driving at the national level.
Ollie took some noticeable victories during the season driving for the TWM race team becoming both the East Anglian Champion and Midlands Champion.
After sitting 3rd in the British Championship all season an unlucky final round saw him finish with a Number 7 seed.
Ollie managed to get on the Podium 3 times in the British Championship rounds.
Some of world motorsport’s most famous drivers have British Kart Championship titles on their CVs, including Lewis Hamilton, Anthony Davidson, Paul di Resta, Mike Conway, Oliver Jarvis, Oliver Rowland and George Russell.
Ollie commented, “What a season of great victories and lots of Podiums but also some frustrating days where I’ve been shunted off track, had mechanical issues etc but as my Dad says we learn more from the bad days than the good.
Our goal was to aim for a top ten finish in Britain on our first try, racing the best drivers in Britain – which we have achieved thanks to my great team TWM, my Dad and Brogan’s my Sponsors. We have had a brilliant year. Thanks, Brogan, for your support.”
